Survivor Support

mtes_survivor_supportTrafficking survivors have unique needs and ongoing care is essential to support them on the road to recover, and to help prevent them from returning to the streets. There are very few transitional resources for survivors of trafficking so our goal is to support them as they integrate into society.

We work with women and girls who have survived trafficking and sexual exploitation by connecting them with a variety of supportive services including counseling, participation in our Community Food Cooperative, Bible studies, English classes, job training and counseling, and eligibility to participate in the Free The Girls micro-enterprise and card-making micro-enterprise. We also offer emergency relief and housing assistance when needed.

We also minister to trafficking survivors through special events like celebrating their 15th birthdays, Christmas parties, and outings. We want to help these women and girls understand that they are valuable creations of God and worthy of love and respect.
