One of our partner organizations, Latin American Children’s Fund (LACF) is here in El Salvador this week. This weekend we worked with them to host another medical outreach in the community served by our health clinic. It was a great day, and 182 patients were seen at the clinic that we manage alongside of LACF. Many of those patients were children and the doctors did everything from diagnose fractured bones to cleaning teeth. We are grateful for LACF and their sponsorship of this clinic, and also for all of the volunteers (especially the doctors) who spent their free time serving the community.
Lunch with the team and doctors to prepare for the clinic.
Getting set up and ready to go! We are so proud of our staff and volunteers who had everything organized and running smoothly!
Opening meeting and prayer.
Almost time to open the doors!
Checking everyone in, and the waiting room filling up fast!
Lots of people were able to get the health care they needed!
Our staff members put on a great kids program while kids were waiting to see the doctor.
Members of LACF gave a demonstration about how to properly clean your teeth…Ian had fun pretending the teeth belonged to Jaws!
A closing prayer, and time to clean up! Thank you to LACF, and our dedicated team of staff and volunteers!
